The BP-23i is an 8.4 volt 700mAh rechargeable replacement Ni-Cd insert for the ICOM BP-23 battery pack. Configured just like the original insert, with solder tabs for easy connection. Your old BP-23 battery pack can be opened up, the original insert removed, and this new insert installed. Some soldering required (to connect pack wires to the insert).
